At Cherry Blossom last night, one of my old cross country assistant coach's husband came in to pick up food. I asked the usual, "How are you today?" He looked at me, smiled, and with his charming British accent warmly said, "Every day-- is a good day." There was a slight pause after "every day". He absolutely meant it. I found myself thinking... Yes, every day is a good day. Why not?
